Summary:
SUPER SEER CORPORATION (SUPER SEER) IS RECALLING CERTAIN MOTORCYCLE HELMETS, MODELS S1602, S1602V, S1608, AND S1608V. ONLY THE EXTRA LARGE SIZE HELMETS ARE BEING RECALLED. THESE HELMETS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE PENETRATION AND RETENTION REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 218, "MOTORCYCLE HELMETS."

Consequence:
IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, THE WEARER OF THE HELMET MAY NOT BE ADEQUATELY PROTECTED, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN INJURY OR DEATH.

Remedy:
SUPER SEER WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE NONCOMPLIANT HELMETS
